Relationship Workshop August 4th!
Posted by Jeff in Communication, Love, Relationships on July 19th, 2010
For my first official relationship blog, I’m pleased to announce I will be presenting a free relationship workshop and book signing at Sabrina’s Café in the Bella Vista section of Philadelphia (910 Christian St., 215-574-1599) on Wednesday, August 4th at 8pm. It is meant to be a fun, casual evening of light dining, wine (BYOB), and entertaining, informative conversation.
The subject of th
e workshop will be based on my book called Irritating the Ones You Love- the Down and Dirty Guide to Relationships. Without giving too much away at this point, in my work as a relationship Psychologist for the past 10 years, I’ve learned that there are a few extremely important “secrets” that have a powerful impact on people’s relationships. While the effects of these patterns can be rather obvious to people, the problem is that their causes tend to be very “unobvious.” In other words, it is common for people to unintentionally make choices early in their dating process that will ultimately cause them many future frustrations and heartaches.
Of course, this would be the opposite of what people are intending, which is exactly why this is such a problem! Fortunately, there are very real (and practical) solutions to these issues, which brings us back to those few “secrets” that I’ll be discussing at the workshop. Those in attendance will gain insight into some of these common relationship pitfalls, as well as into their own personal relationship patterns. So, come join me at Sabrina’s Café!
